I love to eat and I love to try different cuisines. I am glad that in America cuisines from all over the world is available. Now that my husband has started a new job and he is bringing in a little more money every month, we are starting to think about splurging a little. After my layoff last year we had to cut a few of the non-essentials to help make ends me. The thing I missed the most was being able to get online from home so I think we are going to get.wildblue in the next month or so. I’ve felt so out of the loop with my friends when they talked about stuff they saw online. Just in the last year, everything has seemed to go online. No one gets or reads magazines anymore—they get all their news from internet sources. By the time I saw anything in the magazines everyone else knew about days before and it was old news so I felt pretty unhip! Jake celebrated his 4th birthday today with a smile and contentment even if there aren't much food served on the table. We just ordered out some Chinese food and of course a cake with candles to blow. He was all smile when we sang the birthday song and Justine greeted him happy birthday too. Our little man was indeed a fine kid to say thank you to us. After he blew his candles, he asked for a slice of Ice cream cake but he was too excited to open his presents so he only took a couple of bite from that ice cream cake.

Which do you prefer ice cream cake or cheesecake? I love cheesecake better than ice cream cake. You can taste the rich cream and cheese in it. I sucked at baking, no doubt about that. If it's not burnt, it's under cooked. I still want to try baking though. We all went to the store couple of days ago and we picked up a packed of ready mix brownie. Jake helped mixing it up and this is the result. It was a little burnt of course but the important thing still taste like brownie and the kids ate it.
