Fresh vegetables and organically grown vegetables was something I can easily have when I was still in the Philippines. We grow our own food in our backyard so we know that what we were eating were organic and no harmful chemicals on it.

I love to eat and I love to try different cuisines. I am glad that in America cuisines from all over the world is available. Now that my husband has started a new job and he is bringing in a little more money every month, we are starting to think about splurging a little. After my layoff last year we had to cut a few of the non-essentials to help make ends me. The thing I missed the most was being able to get online from home so I think we are going to get.wildblue in the next month or so. I’ve felt so out of the loop with my friends when they talked about stuff they saw online. Just in the last year, everything has seemed to go online. No one gets or reads magazines anymore—they get all their news from internet sources. By the time I saw anything in the magazines everyone else knew about days before and it was old news so I felt pretty unhip! Plus, my parents miss me sending them pictures of the kids since they don’t get to see them that often. I know they are going to enjoy us having the internet again as much as we are!

My sister has always wanted to open a bakery and sell cupcakes. She has loved to bake since she was little, and she is a very talented baker. She stumbled across the perfect piece of property for a bakery recently and decided to go for it. She asked me to help her with the business end of things, and I told her I would. I bought a bunch of mangoes online and they're all ripe. I went to the store yesterday and bought a pack of graham crackers. I used whip cream and condensed milk, mixed them together and put them on top of the cracker. I missed mango float and I was so excited making it and eating all of them too.

Jake celebrated his 4th birthday today with a smile and contentment even if there aren't much food served on the table. We just ordered out some Chinese food and of course a cake with candles to blow. He was all smile when we sang the birthday song and Justine greeted him happy birthday too. Our little man was indeed a fine kid to say thank you to us. After he blew his candles, he asked for a slice of Ice cream cake but he was too excited to open his presents so he only took a couple of bite from that ice cream cake.

Which do you prefer ice cream cake or cheesecake? I love cheesecake better than ice cream cake. You can taste the rich cream and cheese in it. I sucked at baking, no doubt about that. If it's not burnt, it's under cooked. I still want to try baking though. We all went to the store couple of days ago and we picked up a packed of ready mix brownie. Jake helped mixing it up and this is the result. One night the kids were so busy stealing food at the kitchen and fortunately little Spidey able to climbed up and reached the box of Ritz crackers so the split up the two pack of Ritz. Ms. Muppet got the half packed and Mr. Spidey took the whole unopened pack. But the grumpy old man caught them and put the packs of ritz to where it belong. Catfish anywone?

It's so simple to make this one. Cleaned the catfish and seasoned with salt and pepper on top. Sometimes I add paprika for more flavors then roll it in a panko breading mix. Fry it to brown and put them in the oven to finish cooking.

I’ve got so many recipes that I have yet to cook and make. I have a wealth of photos and videos to upload, articles and blogs to read, movies I want to watch with my family, and the new restaurants we want to try. All these need to be organized so that I can prioritize things and stuff to do and make. But because of the demands and rigors of motherhood, there is so little time to do all these things, even putting things in order can be a very tedious task.
